Causes of water pollution • Surface Water Pollution - Dumping of garbage in rivers, lakes, oceans and seas by humans • Chemical Pollution -Insecticides being washed away into water bodies • Ships letting out unwanted oil at sea. (petrol and diesel) • Chemical waste from factories in water bodies. • Farmers washing out their farms and its water leading to water bodies. (Fertilizers and sewage,) solutions.
